Salary Sacrifice for Employees:
A Smarter Way to Drive

No deposit. No credit check. Big savings.
Salary sacrifice gives you access to a brand-new electric car through your gross salary—offering a tax-efficient, hassle-free way to drive.

How It Works

Through a scheme set up by your employer, you agree to exchange a portion of your gross salary for a fully maintained vehicle. Payments come straight from your pre-tax income, reducing your Income Tax and National Insurance.

That money you’d normally never see? It now helps pay for your car.

You’ll only pay a small Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax—much lower for EVs—so your monthly costs are significantly reduced. It’s a win for your wallet and the planet.

Who’s Eligible?

To qualify, you must:

  • Be a UK resident on a permanent or long-term contract
  • Be at least 18 and in your current role for at least six months
  • Earn enough to stay above the National Minimum Wage after deductions
  • Hold a valid UK or EU driving licence with a clean record (no recent offences)

Eligibility may vary by employer—check with your HR or payroll team for full details.
